KellyKelly Clarkson in her full Kelly Brianne Clarkson was an American music producer and singer who rose to fame after she won American Idol's talent contest in 2002. Clarkson lived at Burleson, Texas, a suburb of Fort Worth, where her voice talent was first recognized by her choir instructor at school at the age of a seventh grader. Clarkson quit high school in order to relocate in Los Angeles where she failed to succeed in the entertainment industry. After returning home in Texas in 2002, she took part in the FOX Broadcasting Company's American Idol. This singing competition gave viewers the chance to decide which singer they liked best. Clarkson was loved by viewers for her stunning voice and sense of humor. Her prize for winning the contest was $1 million plus the recording contract was signed with RCA.
