In the beginning, after being influenced from the shadows that she observed on the grass of the trees and the shadows she saw on the trees, she set out to develop a technique which does not portray an object as a two-dimensional picture. Meade sometimes integrates her paintings in the 3D world that surrounds the figures. They interact within the self-created world. This eliminates the distinctions between photography, painting, and installation.
