Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. Roberts is from the fourth generation of Roberts family who lived in Atlanta. This started with her grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was an agriculturalist. Her father was interested in theatre at an early time. As a student in Emory University he appeared in numerous productions in and outside of the campus. When he joined in 1953 the Air Force, he appeared alongside Betty Lou Bredemus in Biloxi. The couple got married in 2005 and welcomed their first child, Eric Anthony in 1956. Walter went to Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana after he left the Airforce in 1957. In 1960 the family moved to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working with Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter and Betty Lou produced a Saturday morning local television show for kids called Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964. This was a project that they funded themselves. In 1964 Walter and Betty Lou founded The Actors and Writers Workshop. It lasted for 6 years. During this time they had two more children Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in the year 1965, and Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
