Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss was born July 23, 1971, in the city of Decatur, Illinois. Both LeAnnekymes and Krauss were among the youngest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss (born July 23 1971) is an American bluegrass and country musician as well as singer. Alison Maria Krauss began her career in music at a young age she was winning competitions in her local area at the age of 10. She recorded for the first album at fourteen. Signed with Rounder Records, her first album was released in 1987. Then, she was invited to be a part of Alison Krauss Union Station, the band she currently performs with. Her debut album together as a band was released in 1989.
